Graph of Trump approval ratings July 7 to 13

SurveyMonkey’s weekly polling (ending Thursday July 13) finds 42 percent of adults nationwide approve of the way Donald Trump is handling his job as president and 56 percent disapprove. Compared to the previous week, that result represents one-point ticks down in approval (from 43 percent) and up in disapproval (from 55 percent) since last week.

“Health care” remains the selected issue matters most at 27 percent (unchanged from last week), just two percentage points ahead of “jobs and the economy” at 25 percent (a point higher than the previous week). Concerns about health care have been rising from 17 percent during the early months of Trump’s presidency to the previous spike to 30 percent, two weeks ago, just after Senate Republicans released their proposed health care bill, Better Care Reconciliation Act or “BRCA.”
