The Role

The Survey Analyst will be a part of the Research & Data Insights team, which provides innovative and methodologically rigorous research expertise across the company and to SurveyMonkey users worldwide. This is a 6-month contractor position.

This position will be responsible for assisting the research being conducted on the team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting research, contributing to questionnaires, number cross-checking, and creating charts and presentations. Ideal candidates will have a background in market research, statistics, or related field, and willingness to learn new concepts and ideas.



  • Assisting with creating and analyzing global tracking and ad hoc surveys
  • Helping with number checking and fact-checking
  • Contributing to building data-driven stories
  • Creating infographics, presentations and charts
  • Conducting background research and literature reviews
  • Drafting, programming, and QA questionnaires, using the SurveyMonkey platform
  • Assisting with building and maintaining tableau dashboard reporting


Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS
  • 2-5 years in market research


Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of R, SPSS, and/or Stata a plus
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs and creating tables and charts in each of those programs
  • Understanding of basic statistics
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
  • Interest in survey research
  • Some experience querying and writing scripts for MS SQL Server database
