Several recent studies and register data show that the uncemented hip stem gains popularity, while at the same time the number of complications increases (mainly with the use of uncemented stems in elderly patients). Currently, there are no clear international guidelines for the use of cemented or cementless fixation of the hip stem. Our aim is to identify the parameters orthopaedic surgeons take into account in the choice whether a cemented or a cementless hip stem is used in primary total hip arthroplasty.

Therefore, the department of orthopaedic surgery from the *** Medical Center in *** would like to invite you to fill out this questionnaire.

The time needed to fill out this questionnaire may vary between 1 - 5 minutes.

This questionnaire is completely anonymous and only intended for research purposes.
